Everyday is a memorable day for me, I learn something new and I enjoy helping patients gain knowledge about why it’s important to care for their eyes. Just several weeks ago, a patient walked into our store 5 minutes before closing time in need of glasses. He had a job interview as a forklift operator in the morning, but lost his glasses and would not be able to take his operator test without them. We were able to get the patient seen immediately for an eye exam. We selected frames and lenses that fit his needs and budget, and made them within minutes. My most memorable moment was when I had the pleasure of assisting a young lady […] find her favorite glasses right before her mission trip. It was remarkable because I was able to keep within her budget, as well as deliver her glasses that very same day. I was able to help her get affordable glasses and in turn she was able to go help people around the world. The patient was so happy that she began to cry.
